Where does K12 Tutoring find its tutors?

K12 Tutoring accepts applications from all over the country. We then screen every tutor with a comprehensive background check, validate their teaching credentials, and ensure they’re a good fit for our platform.

Is K12 Tutoring a new company?

Yes and no. We launched services direct to consumers September 14, 2022. However, we’re a portfolio brand born out of Stride, Inc., an industry leader that has been pioneering the online education space for over twenty years with public and private virtual schools through our K12 business.

What technology or platforms are used for online tutoring sessions?

We use a proprietary technology platform custom built for students and tutors to interact with one another through messaging and video. Tutoring sessions are hosted in a video collaboration platform called Engageli.
